When you contribute to LEAP with a monthly donation, you're ensuring Idahoans have the opportunity to access homes that are affordable for their wages in the communities that they live, work, and play in.

With LEAP Housing, your dollars supports the only Idaho-based nonprofit that works with all communities in Idaho to provide homeownership and rental opportunities that local wages can afford. Your monthly or one-time donation to LEAP supports our efforts to create and preserve affordable housing in Idaho, matching the housing prices to local wages, and supporting the Idahoans who call them home.

The LEAP Housing Impact Fund (LHIF) is a unique financial tool to address the escalating crisis in affordable housing for Idaho: the lack of available capital in the state. This is an opportunity to directly invest in our community to ensure that affordable housing is, and remains, available for hard-working individuals and families.

The LHIF is the only vehicle that allows organizations and members of the community to donate or invest in a fund designated to linking housing costs to local wages, only in Idaho. Your social impact investment (0% - 4% rate of return) funds the critical gap between market interest rates and making affordable homeownership and rental opportunities a reality for Idahoans across the Gem State.

Plan Your Dollars

Leaving a Legacy provides a way for the community to contribute to Idaho’s housing future through planned giving. Whether through bequests, donor-advised funds, appreciated stock, or other planned gifts, your support ensures that generations of Idahoans will be able to access housing costs that are tied to their household’s wages.

With LEAP Housing, your planned gift brings the critical support to place land in the LEAP Housing Trust, maintain the home’s affordability in perpetuity, and provide empowering services that contribute to residents’ social determinants of health.
