THE PIECES OF THE HOUSING PUZZLE

Our partners in the community

Idaho has an affordable housing inventory problem for communities large and small throughout the state. It’s a problem that impacts the stability of families and the stability of the communities in which they reside at a scale that not one single entity can solve.

Since we began our work in 2016 to be a piece of the puzzle in solving the affordable housing issue in Idaho, many community partners across many sectors have stepped up to contribute to positive housing outcomes for Idahoans.

REAL ESTATE PARTNERS

LEAP was started in 2016 in partnership with an Idaho real estate firm, Property People, and since that partnership, the real estate community has backed the work LEAP is doing.

BUSINESS PARTNERS

The Idaho business community has found a way to say YES! Businesses that have little to do with housing see the need for affordable housing and it’s impacts on employees and the communities that they do business in.

FINANCIAL INSTITUTION PARTNERS

Banks and credit unions play a crucial role in the work we do. From charitable contributions to constructions loans, the financial services sector has partnered with us in droves to make the money work.

HEALTHCARE PARTNERS

Our healthcare partners have made it clear to us, “Housing is healthcare.” Stable and affordable housing is a social determinant of health, and our healthcare partners have put their hat in the ring with us.

FAITH PARTNERS

While some folks may say “not in my backyard,” the faith community in Idaho has said, “yes in God’s backyard.” With excess land and a desire to better the community, our faith partners see the need for affordable housing.

FOUNDATION PARTNERS

Foundations have long been supporters of the ideas we bring to the table, no matter how innovative or new it is. Foundations encouraged us to scale and have stood along side us in that journey.

NONPROFIT PARTNERS

LEAP works with nonprofit partners across the state to ensure no services are being duplicated for the community. From direct service providers to nonprofits who can plug in to what we’re doing, we’re grateful for what our nonprofit partners do!
