Hours: 24 hours weekly primarily at the property management office

Start Date: As Soon As Possible

Employment: Part-time

Starting Wages: $18-$22 per hour depending on experience

Golden Glow Tower, a landmark in Nampa for over 50 years, stands as the tallest building in the city. Catering specifically to seniors, this single-building apartment complex offers a warm and welcoming community atmosphere. With a focus on providing quality living spaces, the property is characterized by low maintenance requirements and moderate leasing activity. The close-knit community fosters an environment where residents genuinely care for one another.



Responsibilities

Leasing and Tenant Management

  • Facilitate the leasing process for single bedroom, studio, and efficiency units.

  • Conduct income verification to ensure the tenant is eligible for the property.

  • Maintain positive tenant relations through effective communication and conflict resolution.

  • Foster a sense of community and camaraderie among senior residents.

Property Maintenance

  • Oversee and coordinate routine maintenance tasks.

  • Address any maintenance issues promptly and efficiently.

  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

  • Establish and maintain a protocol for responding to emergency maintenance issues

Administrative Tasks

  • Keep accurate records of leases, rent payments, and other relevant documentation.

  • Manage tenant inquiries and concerns professionally and promptly.

  • Collaborate with relevant LEAP staff to ensure smooth operations including accurate record keeping of income and expenses

Budgeting and Financial Management

  • Assist in budget preparation and management to ensure financial stability.

  • Monitor rent collection and project- or tenant-based voucher administration.

Community Engagement

  • Collaborate with Resident Services director to communicate community needs

  • Act as a liaison between residents and LEAP, ensuring a positive living environment.



Qualifications

  • Previous experience in affordable property management is preferred.

  • Basic understanding of property management principles.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Empathy and patience, especially when dealing with senior residents.
